Battalion Commander

Cadet Battlion Commander C/LTC: GENEIVE HARRIS LTC Rank

  • Command the Battalion Staff at all formations.
  • Maintain a relationship and communication with all in both staff and companies.
  • Use the staff to coordinate and plan meetings and events used to conduct training and control in the battalion.
  • Ensure actions and events are within JROTC regulation, as well as complies with school and district policies.
  • Execute all responsibilities within a timely matter to ensure things go smoothly according to schedule.
  • Make operational decisions for the cadet battalion.
  • Be prepared to evaluate any cadet in the battalion at any given time, but specifically staff and company commanders.
 
As the Battalion Commander, I must take full and complete responsibility for all that goes on within our staff and companies, be it either failure or success. Through both I can continue to grow as a leader and best gear our Jaguar Battalion towards a fulfilling school year.
