- NHS membership requires attendance at the designated monthly meetings.
- Meetings will be held at the beginning of the month.

NHS Application
Students who meets the requirement of an unweighted cumulative GPA or a 90 or higher (does not round up) will receive a letter with the link to the NHS application. If you believe you should have received a letter and did not, please reach out to your counselor in regards to your UNWEIGHTED GPA.
2022-2023 NHS Application Information:
- The district will send the list of eligible applicants in late September or early October for those current Juniors or Seniors with an unweighted GPA of 90 or higher.
- Invitational letters will be dispersed to eligible applicants in October. These invitations will be sent through the student's email. PLEASE be sure to check the Junk Mail folders.
- If you are a current Junior or Senior and you believe you have an unweighted GPA of 90 or higher but were not included on the list, please see your counselor.
- Applications for those who receive an invitation will be due in October.

Criteria for Eligibility and Membership Requirements
The Criteria for Eligibility in the CTJ Chapter of NHS are as follows:
- Students must be in their Junior or Senior year of High School.
- Students must have an overall unweighted GPA of 90 or above. This is a district change.
- Students must fill out an application, when made available, and turn in application on time.
- The Faculty Council will review applications based on Character, Community Service and Involvement, and Leadership.
As an active Member of the CTJ Chapter of NHS, a student must do the following each semester:
- Maintain an overall unweighted GPA of 90 or above
- Attend monthly meetings
- Complete a group service project(s) (equivalent of 4 hours) per semester
- Complete 6 hours of Volunteer/Community Service work individually per semester (and turn in the proper paperwork that verifies this work.)
