Announcements
Official 6th Semester GPA
All Seniors can now view their Official 6th semester GPA (and Rank for top 10%) on the transcript posted in Skyward under the "Portfolio" tile, titled "Transcript 9-11-26".
There are 3 types of GPAs provided to students on their transcripts:
Overall Unweighted GPA – NHS eligibility
Ranked GPA – determines top 10%
Overall weighted GPA – determines honor graduate status after the 6th semester
Please remember that NEISD board policy EIC (Local) indicates for students entering grade 9 in the 2021-22 school year and beyond, that no class rank shall be calculated or reported for any of its students, except for the limited purpose of automatic admission to Texas public universities for students in the top ten percent of their graduating class.
If a college or scholarship application requests rank and the student does not have one, they should select "my school does not rank", "none", or "N/A" which should always be an option on applications.
See the button below for more details and ranges of GPAs for the Class of 2027.
